But have you ever heard of Aloe Vera Butter? It is a natural skin care product and few people might have heard of it and if you have heard about it before, or have used it, great. But here we are telling you how you can make aloevera butter at home.

Aloevera contains many vitamins, minerals, and other active ingredients like choline, aglycone, Aloe emodin, aloin, including folic acid, vitamin A & E etc. that give it many health benefits. Each aloevera leaf has three main layers. There is an inner gel containing 99% water, and the remaining part made of amino acids, glucomannans, sterols, lipids, and vitamins. Aloe Vera can also be used on the hair to treat dandruff by rubbing it into your hair and scalp. Aloe Vera also contains hormones, such as gibberellins and auxins, which help in the faster healing of wounds.

What is Aloe Vera Butter:

Aloe Vera gel, when used with Shea butter, forms aloevera butter. This aloevera butter is considered a good ingredient in your skincare routine, which can help to beautify both your skin and hair. It can be used as a hair mask, face mask and lotion.

Uses of Aloe Vera Butter for Skin and Hair:

As we have told you that aloevera butter is beneficial for both skin and hair. It can help remove dark circles, blemishes and stretch marks from your face. Apart from this, along with the use of shea butter, it is also used as a face mask and body lotion. Aloevera butter has anti-inflammatory properties, which help in preventing premature ageing of the skin and skin damage, you can also use it as a natural conditioner. It stops your hair growth, itchy scalp and dandruff.

How to make Aloe Vera Butter:

It is very easy to make aloe vera butter at home. For this you need:

  • 1 tsp shea butter
  • 3 tbsp aloe vera gel
  • To make aloe vera butter, take 1 teaspoon shea butter and 3 tablespoons aloe vera gel in a bowl.
  • Now start by mixing both of them well and keep whisking till the paste becomes pulpy and soft.
  • After that you keep it in a glass jar and store it in a cool and dry place for at least two weeks.

 

How to use:

1. Aloevera Butter for Hair:

Before you wash your hair, apply it on the scalp as a hair mask. Now leave it on for 15-20 minutes and then wash your hair.

2. Aloevera Butter for Skin:

To get a soft skin, you can apply aloevera butter on the face, use it as a moisturiser. You can apply it on the lips as well as the face. Apart from this, for dark circles or spots and fine lines, you apply a small amount of aloevera butter under the eyes and leave it for 20 minutes, then you wash your face. Take, but do not forget to do a patch test before use.
